Cultivating Inclusivity & A Sense of Belonging: Brown Bag Discussion

In these trying times with the ongoing pandemic and instances of social injustice around us, let us take a moment to heal as a teaching community, and share the joys and challenges of our practice with one another.  In our common goals to foster faculty development and enhance our classroom ambiance, the Center for Multicultural Education and Faculty Development Coordination are collaborating to host a number of sessions on inclusive pedagogy and unbiased classrooms this fall.

CME and FDC are delighted to invite you to join the first of our monthly virtual Brownbag scheduled  for Wednesday, September 30 at noon.  To stimulate our thinking and get us talking about multicultural teaching and learning, a short reading entitled “Cultivating Inclusivity and a sense of Belonging in the Classroom” (linked here).  If anyone would like to share a few words at this session or take a lead in the discussion, kindly let Sayeeda Mamoon and Rachael Lancor know of your interest.

Thank you for your attention.  Rachael and I hope you will join us for a vibrant conversation.
