Event Summary:
When:Saturday, Nov 23rd 1-4pm
Who: Anyone interested in 3D printing
Where: SON 203
What: Design, print, and test a 3D object within the time limit

On Nov 23rd, from 1-4pm the FabLab is hosting a fun Thanksgiving-themed 3D printing workshop.  The workshop will be formatted as design challenge.  Participants will work in groups of 1-3 to come up with a 3D model given some design criteria and a set amount of time.   Participants can use whatever 3D modeling program they are comfortable with, but Fusion360 or TinkerCad is recommended. You do not need to know how to 3D design, but it will be helpful.  TinkerCad is free (make an account), online, and pretty easy to learn.

There will be snacks to enjoy while things are printing, and a small prize for the winners.  This event is open to anyone, so feel free to invite your friends and/or family. 3D printing/design is kid-friendly.

In order to ensure there is enough food, please RSVP by Thursday Nov 21st to lreusch@edgewood.edu with your name and how many (if any) guests you are bringing.
