Dear Faculty,

We are pleased to announce that Edgewood College’s Blackboard now features two new integrations! Please see below for additional details pertaining to each integration, what that means going forward and what it affects:

WileyPlus

As you may be aware, we have had WileyPLUS integrated into Blackboard for some time, however, we recently received notice that the vendor is retiring the “old” integration as of Summer 2021. In order to keep our same level of service, we have preemptively updated our WileyPLUS integration. Please take note of what these changes will mean for any courses using our “old” integration:

• Currently, we are NOT deactivating the old WileyPLUS in order to give Faculty members ample time to convert any content to our new integration.
• As of Summer 2021, all content should be migrated over to the new integration. Any content still using the old integration will stop working!

Finding New WileyPLUS Integration

You will find the new WileyPLUS integrations under these menus in Blackboard:

• Wiley Assignments — Content > Build Content > Wiley Assignments
• Wiley Resources — Content > Build Content > Wiley Resources
• Wiley eTextbooks — Content > Tools > More Tools > Wiley eTextbook

Please note that WileyPLUS, under the Tools menu, is our old integration, and thus should not be used. This one is found specifically under Content > Tools > More Tools > WileyPLUS.

 Macmillan Achieve

Macmillan Achieve is a brand-new integration to Blackboard! Some Faculty members may already be using Macmillan Achieve capable textbooks, and this integration allows you to bring those resources directly into Blackboard.

Since this is a new integration, there will be no impact to previous courses and no content to migrate.

Finding Macmillan Achieve

You can find Macmillan Achieve by expanding Course Tools along the left-hand side: Course Tools > Macmillan Course Tools.

Upon clicking on the menu item, you will see multiple options such as Connect with LaunchPad, Connect with Achieve, etc. You will want to connect your account first by clicking at the bottom on Macmillan User Profile.
