Recent Events & Mental Health

Personal Counseling Services (PCS) recognizes the traumatic impact that riots and violence can have, even when we are not physically present or directly involved. The recent events at the U.S. Capitol are undoubtedly impacting the mental health and well-being of the Edgewood College community. We are here to help students navigate through these difficult times.

During the fall semester, PCS offered free, confidential 30-minute appointments to process thoughts and feelings around the presidential election. In light of recent events, these appointments will continue to be available to students throughout the month of January. If you know a student who would benefit, please encourage them to call PCS at 608-663-4148 and mention "election stress."
