What is changing?

Mutli-factor Authentication (MFA)

Due to a requirement by our insurance company, by the first week in February, our campus will require the use of MFA to gain VPN access.  By summer, MFA will be required for most Edgewood College services such as Computer Logon, Office 365 and Jenzabar Services.

Multi-factor Authentication requires multiple devices (i.e. phone, physical key, computer etc.) to log in to select services or access information and is now a requirements for many businesses and most institutions to protect their data and services.  Many financial institutions have been requiring this for quite some time so many of you are already using similar products with your personal accounts.

Please keep an eye for further communications in EC Today and your email.

Remember that we will NEVER ask you to email your username, password, or any other personal identifying information. Disregard any email that requests such information, whether it is from Edgewood College or any other organization.
