A walk to understand our campus environment

This month’s Contemplative Campus “Wheel of Health” activity is about our physical environment.  Come join in this walk that focuses on the sacredness of the mounds and the grounds of our campus.

Wed. Sept. 12 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm.  Meet at the Bird Mound located between DeRicci and the Library.  (In case of rain, meet in Library L1 (2nd floor).

This contemplative walk has been planned by our Ashleigh Ross and Karen Martin, a Dejope community member, and part of a group which spreads understanding of the historical and cultural significance of our physical environment.

This year the Contemplative Campus Group has planned well-being activities based on Duke University’s Wheel of Health and its seven spokes – a different spoke touched on each month.  The activities are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 3:00 – 4:15 pm., and are open to all faculty, staff and students.
