Location: DeRicci 203
Time: Monday Thursdays, 3-6pm. Do you have a question about your practice as it relates to multicultural education? Is there a scholarship of teaching and learning project idea that you would like to bounce ideas off of someone? If you have a question or concern pertaining to multicultural curriculum and/or pedagogy, feel free to drop-in to the center for a one-to-one conversation. An Invitation to participate in an Inquiry as Stance Group
Inquiry as stance is grounded in the problems and the contexts of practice and in how practitioners collaboratively theorize, study, and act on those problems in the best interests of the learning and life chances of students and their communities (p. 123). Overall Inquiry as Stance focuses on theories of how to change with what must change, strengthening the steps of practitioners, university partners, and community members moving alongside each other in collaborative work.
If you are interested in participating in such a group as a pilot for a larger focus for the center, please join me on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 4:30 to 5:30, in the CME office, DeRicci, 203. Light Refreshments will be served.
