The Academic Dean & Dean of Students Offices invite you to nominate students for the following Dominican Awards to recognize undergraduates who embody the college mission and the Dominican values of Truth, Justice, Compassion, Community and Partnership. A student may be nominated for more than one award, but may only receive one. You must submit a separate nomination for each award that meets the specific criteria.

Heritage Awards- “Intellect, Spirit, Imagination and Heart” for Freshmen and Sophomores
Justice Awards- “A Just and Compassionate World” for Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
Leadership Awards- “Ethical Leadership” for Juniors and Seniors
Scholars Awards- “Search for Truth” for Juniors and Seniors
The deadline for application and nomination materials is 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20. Materials received after that time will not be considered.
Faculty & Staff: This document will help guide you in determining the information needed to nominate a student, before beginning the nomination survey. highly encourage you to contact the student you are nominating in order to provide the most current information on their candidacy. ROSA Awards
We recognize that students can be honored both on and off campus. A ROSA Award (Recognizing Outstanding Student Achievement) honors students who have been recognized off campus. If a student you know or a student organization has been recognized in the past year for outstanding achievement by an outside entity or organization, please e-mail Marissa Blackmore at mblackmore@edgewood.edu byMarch 20th at 4:00pm.
