TEST of Eagle Alert system Friday, March 9, 2018

Edgewood College uses the 911 Shield App to keep you informed when there’s a significant disruption in our normal schedules. If you have not already added the 911 Shield App to your phone, please take a moment and do that now.

The 911 Shield App provides you the ability to track the location of the Edgewood College Safe Ride shuttle, gives each of you the opportunity to enhance your own personal safety using ‘Friend Watch’ (optional), and in the unlikely event that you need to call Security or 911, it gives responders the ability to reach you more quickly.

We also use the 911 Shield System to send you Eagle Alerts via text message and email. We will conduct a TEST of the Eagle Alert system on Friday, March 9, 2018. You do not need the app to receive the Eagle Alert.

iPhone users may use this link to get the 911 Shield app.

If you have any questions, please contact either Mike Metcalf, or Ed Taylor in Marketing & Strategic Communications. We are both a part of the Emergency Management Task Force, and will be happy to assist you.
