Faculty: Do you use a Classroom Response System to Enhance Student Engagement?

Do you use a Classroom Response System to Enhance Student Engagement?

Do you want to learn more?

Come to the Technology Fair, Tuesday, January 17th to learn about classroom response systems by Pete Kuhn at 10:40!

Imagine using technology to create an inclusive classroom where students are more actively engaged, comfortable responding to questions and receive targeted feedback on their responses. Imagine that you can do this while collecting information on & from your students that can used to address misconceptions & improve future classes.  Classroom Response Systems have moved well beyond "clickers" and can usually be used without purchasing equipment or software.  They are also not limited to multiple choice questions and can be used in both structured & open-ended activities. This seminar will actively use examples of these systems, discuss their benefits, & talk about how they can be implemented in a variety of scenarios.  Attendees are encouraged to bring some sort of Wi-Fi ready device and use it during the presentation.

The day begins with breakfast at 8. Opening Remarks and Tip of the Day at 8:15.  Come and go as your schedule allows.

For each session you attend you will be given a chance to win door prizes provide by our vendors. Drawing is at 3 PM

You will be receiving and invitation to the luncheon.  Please RSVP if you plan on attending the lunch so that we have an appropriate amount of food.

Please contact Diane Deci ddeci@edgewood.edu if you have any questions.
