Volunteer opportunities with the Wisconsin Veterans Museum

Are you interested in becoming a tour guide for our popular Talking Spirits Cemetery Tour at Forest Hill? The Wisconsin Veterans Museum is gearing up to host Talking Spirits Cemetery Tour at Forest Hill Cemetery during the week of September 30th through October 6th. Over 3,000 children and adults attend every year, making this the 21st year the Museum has conducted this event. On this ninety minute walking tour, led by guides, individuals learn about the history of Madison and people who have built, developed, and supported this great city. In past years, the Museum has counted on Volunteer support to ensure that we have plenty of tour guides to provide a quality tour experience. We are hoping to have that support again this year and are asking you to be a part of this fantastic tour. No prior knowledge is necessary and we will provide the appropriate training and support needed to ensure our tour guides are well-versed and professional. We rely on Volunteers like you to help the museum provide quality programming. If you are interested in this amazing opportunity, please contact the Education Team at VISITOR.CURATOR@DVA.WISCONSIN.GOV.

Thank you!
