Update from VP for Enrollment Management

Edgewood College is launching a bold marketing effort.

 

This evocative campaign will focus on overall brand awareness as well as recruitment marketing and will include digital, email, print, and other media. We look forward to sharing our marketing images and our plans with you. You will start to see some of this on campus very soon! When you see this you'll know it's part of our comprehensive marketing campaign.

October is still prime application time for traditional undergraduate students. We launched several campaigns to drive UG applications including digital/social media, email, mailings, and faculty outreach. Although many of these campaigns just launched and have not had time to impact we have collected 27% more applications during the first two weeks of October this year than we did during the same 2 week period last year. We have momentum. BUT we are 18% behind our total Fall application goal and would like to collect an additional 400 applications during the month of October. We are 6% behind in overall number of applications received compared to last year at this time.

 

Due to demographics shifts (Grawe 2018) and low unemployment rates, competition for undergraduate and graduate students is fierce. We need your help in promoting Edgewood College and increasing the number of students that consider Edgewood College their #1 choice.

 

A big thank you to the faculty that reached out to inquiries/prospective students. I hear positive results!  If you have a list of inquiries you intend to contact please contact them and encourage them to apply. If you know of prospective students that should be receiving Edgewood College information please send their contact information including name, year of graduation, email address, phone number, and mailing address to admissions@edgewood.edu .
