Last week, the Presidential Search Committee met to review the application submissions.  The Committee has received more than 80 applications.  After deep discussions, the team has narrowed the list down to a manageable number.  The Committee continues to shape the interview process, and will soon begin scheduling interviews.

The Committee expects that by early March the candidate pool will be narrowed further, and at that time will determine next steps for a second round of conversations.  The Committee is eager to increase the number of campus community members involved in the second phase of the interview process, but how this will work in practical terms will depend on the candidates and the level of confidentiality required.
