Dear Edgewood College Community,
As we continue to navigate through these unprecedented times, the Center for Global Education would like to share the following information about the College’s study abroad programs for the upcoming spring 2021 semester.
The Center for Global Education and the College’s International Travel Advisory Council (ITAC) continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation very closely and are committed to keeping the health and safety of students, faculty, and staff as our top priority. We are anxious to be able to offer our programs again as soon as we are confident that it is safe to do so.
By October 1, we plan to make a decision about which, if any, short-term faculty-led study abroad programs will be offered during the spring semester. These programs are semester courses with 10-20 day international travel components that take place in early summer, immediately following the end of the semester.
By October 15, we plan to make a decision about whether we will offer semester-length study abroad experiences for the spring semester. We are in communication with the individual students who are already in the process of preparing for these programs.
Decisions about summer 2021 study abroad programs and international internships will be made at a later date, yet to be determined.
If you have questions about the status of our programs, please contact Sara Liang at sliang@edgewood.edu .
