When emailing from your site in Blackboard, your Edgewood email address will appear as the display name while the emails will be delivered from DoNotReply@blackboard.com.

Unfortunately, this is deceptive as users may indeed respond to the message.

When a user responds to the email, the replies will go to your Edgewood email – not the DoNotReply@blackboard.com email. This is Blackboard's intended behavior.

Please consider this when you receive an email from a Blackboard site, especially when it is coming from your instructor. 

Remember that you are able to respond to that email even though the email address says "DoNotReply".
