Dear Students,
Monroe Street will be reduced to one lane inbound towards downtown Madison beginning Monday March 12th.
Accessing the campus will be impacted. We expect increased internal traffic by the College, High School, and Campus School. Following is important information:
Edgewood Avenue Gate (at the Marshall Lot) Will be Open 24 Hours
• Vehicles will be able to access the lower campus through this gate.
• Vehicles coming from the lower campus will be able to exit through this gate.
Internal Traffic Patterns
• Traffic on the internal road between the High School and Marshall Hall will be one way toward the lower campus.
• Traffic on the internal road between Marshall Hall and Dominican Hall will be one way toward the Edgewood Avenue Gate.
• We anticipate significant traffic through the center of campus, especially from 7:00-9:00 a.m. and from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Park and Pleasure Drive
• The Campus School will use the Park and Pleasure Drive for student drop off between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and for student pickup between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Traffic on the Park and Pleasure Drive is one way from Woodrow Street to Siena Hall. From Siena to Edgewood Avenue the Park and Pleasure Drive has two way traffic.
Important Safety Information
• Please slow down when driving on Campus - obey posted traffic speeds.
• Students, faculty and staff should remain aware of automobiles on the roadways – please use sidewalks as much as possible.
• The roadways in front of Dominican Hall and Marshall Hall are fire lanes - there is no parking (even temporary) in front of or adjacent to Dominican or Marshall Hall.
• Students, faculty and staff please be aware that there may be vehicular traffic as you cross the Park and Pleasure Drive to and from Mazzuchelli Hall.
