The Edgewood College Theatre welcomes the nominations of theatrical titles for our 2016-2017 theatre season from the Edgewood Community.

Possible themes and considerations for next season
- Value for 2016-2017 academic year: Truth
- Themes and ideas: works that celebrate and/or highlight truth social justice, or social engagement. (Note: other themes and ideas might be added to our list as the process unfolds, and the gallery season is selected. Other connections to projects/events on campus and their themes are most welcome.)
- Balance: This year our season was quite dark and included an unpublished new work, a modern classic-American drama, a Brechtian piece, a murder mystery musical, and a Theatre for Young Audiences show about online identity. Next year’s season should aim for different choices.
- Rotation: With the student directed once-acts and a Theatre for Young Audience’s show as part of our season, we have three slots open for consideration. A mid-sized to large musical is in our rotation.
- Reality: We welcome all titles, but some shows have very expensive or unobtainable rights for production. Next year, classes start late in the second semester, which limits the scope of shows we can do in our third slot. We also will be working in the Diane Ballweg Theatre, so shows must be suitable or adaptable technically for that space.
