Hello everyone, come out and join OSII in our First Generation Celebration Week!
Below you all will find information regarding our upcoming First-Gen Celebration Week! Some of the information below would not need to be shared with students, but please feel free to share with your students about the actual events, if you are able to.
- Online Guess Who| Monday, September 6 (Social Media Post; OSII Instagram)
- This will be our kickoff event for First-Gen Celebration week. Winning student will receive a $30 gift card.
- "Muffin to do but Celebrate you" Mix-N-Mingle| Tuesday, September 7 from 9:30-11:00 am & 4:30-6:00 pm (Washburn)
- Students will be able to come out for either a morning or evening Mix-N-Mingle and gather resources to get empowered in achieving their career goals.
- Please feel free (especially if you are a First-Gen) to stop in to mix-n-mingle with our students.
- First-Gen students will get their free shirts, non-First-Gen students will get their free support button. If you are First-Gen faculty/staff come grab your shirt for just $3 and grab a $1 support button for non-First-Gen faculty/staff.
- Family Feud| Wednesday, September 8 from 6:00-7:30 pm (Sonderegger 108)
- Students will compete in a game of family feud, with question being college related.

- Students Vs. Faculty Staff Challenge| Thursday, September 9 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (Predolin Rec)
- Come join or watch our inaugural students vs. faculty/staff challenge, this year event will be Minute to Win it!
- The games will be a drop and go, so even if you only have a minute to spare you can still participate.
- Winning team will have their "trophy" on displayed until the next challenge.

- First-Gen & Beyond| Friday, September 10 from 1:00-3:30 pm (Predolin 115)
- As we conclude our First-Gen Celebration week come out and learn about the lived experiences our First-Gens with intersectional identities.
- Light refreshments will be provided, as well as a group photo in our First-Gen shirts or buttons!
