Yoga Nidra on Monday

Monday, Nov. 4, 12 – 1 PM, East Regina MPR

A lunchtime deep relaxation Yoga Nidra session is set for this Monday November 4.  Our own Rebecca Zambrano, who is trained in Yoga Nidra, will lead the session.

Yoga Nidra is a profoundly relaxing and renewing form of self-inquiry that does not involve yoga poses.  It can be done sitting up in a chair or lying down on a yoga mat. YN has no yoga postures, so wear comfortable and warm clothing.

This is a highly research-based practice that is now covered by many medical insurance plans, and for veterans as a treatment for PTSD and other conditions.  See https://www.irest.org/irest-research for research links.

The session is free, and open to students, faculty and staff.

If you can attend for all or part of this session, please RSVP to Rebecca at rzambrano@edgewood.edu

Sponsored by Edgewood College’s Contemplative Campus − highlighting and fostering contemplative practices on and around campus.
