Although we are winding down the fall semester,  some of us are already  thinking ahead to summer and fall courses. As you prepare for your next round of teaching, please make note of some important changes that have been made to the syllabus template. In particular, three changes have been made to the syllabus template in an effort to use more inclusive language:

• Preferred  Gender Pronouns
• Title IX
• Accessibility & Disability Services

These changes are highlighted in blue in the template so that you can easily find them and copy into your syllabi for the fall semester. All versions of the syllabus templates can be found at the link below.

As a reminder,  it is important to use the syllabus template to ensure that you have included all information required by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). These changes have been vetted by the VPAA's Office, the Dean of Students Office (Title IX), the LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee, and Disability & Accessibility Services.
