SUMMER WORK HOURS for employees eligible to work an alternative schedule starts Monday, May 17 and ends Friday, August 6!
Work week schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday*
7:30 AM – 12:30 PM Friday (no lunch)*
Work hours may vary dependent upon work area
Since the Monday – Thursday summer workday is 8 hours in length, 8 hours paid time must be applied, if not worked (e.g., 8 hours vacation time, 8 hours sick time, 4 hours Personal Time and 4 hours Vacation, etc.) Five (5) hours must be applied to time away from work on a Friday.
As we approach the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2021), keep in mind:
- {2021 Only} Up to 15 days’ Vacation may be carried beyond June 30 through August 31, 2021.
- Vacation accrued in excess of fifteen (15) days as of June 30, 2021 will be forfeited without pay
- Vacation accrued as of June 30, 2021 in excess of ten (10) days must be used by August 31, 2021
- Vacation accrued in excess of ten (10) days as of June 30, 2021 and unused as of August 31, 2021 will be forfeited without pay
- Personal Time remaining on June 30, is not paid out and does not carry forward into the July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 fiscal year.
- Accrued time in Kronos reflects time earned through prior pay period.
