As we begin a new academic year, the Dominican Life and Mission Office shares news regarding Wednesday Noon Prayer in St. Joseph Chapel. Beginning Wednesday, August 22nd, the Wednesday noon prayer will be a Liturgy of the Word – not a celebration of the Eucharist/Mass. Note that this change applies to Wednesdays only; we will continue to celebrate the Eucharist on Sundays at 11:00am during the academic year.
Liturgy of the Word includes prayers, Scripture readings, music, General Intercessions and a Scripture Reflection. As members of the worldwide Dominican Family, we are all called to “preach with our lives.” This weekly celebration of the Liturgy of the Word provide an opportunity for a wide variety of community members to offer a reflection. We hope you will choose to join us – on Wednesdays and/or Sundays - as your schedule allows.
