An August Seminar is the year’s first Taste of Contemplation

Thursday, August 18, 2:30 – 3:30 PM, PRD 115

All faculty and staff are welcome to join the Contemplative Campus group in a contemplative activity and an introduction to the group’s work.

For the first half hour, we will discuss in small groups our reflective answers to the questions below.  The questions are based on Chapter 1 of Parker Palmer’s Let Your Life Speak. Please join us!

Spend a few quiet moments connecting with what Parker Palmer refers to as the voice within and answer the following:

1) When you became a young adult (age 22), what did you think you were meant to be and meant to do?

2) At your adult halfway point, what did you think you were meant to be and meant to do?

3) Currently and into the future, what did you think you were meant to be and meant to do?

Taste of Contemplation is an initiative of the Edgewood College Contemplative Campus Group − intended to highlight and foster contemplative practices around campus.  Check out our new website.
