Faculty/Staff Trail Work Day

Edgewood Friends, the warm temperatures and rain have brought color to our campus after a long winter, and the woodlands are alive with spring ephemerals.  Unfortunately, there is an abundant crop of garlic mustard established in the woodlands.

Garlic mustard is an invasive plant that quickly invades our native woodlands and outcompetes native growth.  There will be a volunteer woodland trail work day this Wednesday, May 16, from 3-5pm to remove this invasive plant.  If you are willing to volunteer, please meet at Mazzuchelli Hall.  Work gloves will be provided, but please wear work clothes and shoes.  Please contact me with any questions about the project.
