Girls on the Run 5K

Festivities starts at 7:30 a.m. ~ Race starts at 9:00 a.m.

Race participants will gather within the stadium beginning at 7:30 am, and at 8:40 am will be marshaled down Edgewood College Dr, and stage in front of DeRicci, facing the Woodrow gate.  The start line is near the entrance to the parking lot about 100 ft prior to the Woodrow gate.  The race will start at 9:00 am, and runners will be released in several waves. They will head toward the lake on Park and Pleasure Drive, loop around the zoo, return through the Woodrow gate, go toward the stadium and finish on the High School track.

Between the times of 8:40 - 9:15 am and 9:45 - 10:25 am there will be considerable congestion. One lane of the Edgewood Drive will remain open at all times and parking will be available in both the Regina and DeRicci lots. The only entrance to the the DeRicci lot will be from Edgewood Drive, across for the parking ramp. Please note that drivers may need to wait to waved into the DeRicci lot during peak times of the race. Race will be completed by 11:00 am.
