Dear LatinX Students,

Please join the Association of LatinX Student Organization (ALAS) for their annual kick-off social on Thursday, 9/7, from 4-5p, in the Washburn Heritage Room.

ALAS will introduce their new Executive Board, some of Edgewood's LatinX faculty/staff, and discuss their goals for the semester.

The word “Latinx” (pronounced “La-teen-ex”) is the gender-neutral alternative to Latino, Latina and even Latin@. Latinx makes room for people who are trans, queer, agender, non-binary, gender non-conforming or gender fluid.
