On Friday from 9-11am there will be the opportunity to attend a training session at The Beacon, which is the new homeless day resource center operated by Catholic Charities.  They rely on volunteers seven days a week to assist with such things as laundry and shower services, computer lab assistance, child care, and advocacy work.  If you would like to attend the training session (transportation is provided) please talk to Michael.  There will be additional volunteer opportunities to become involved at The Beacon next semester.
