Share your Holiday Traditions for the Festival of Lights!!

High priority

Festival of Lights is a celebration of traditions this upcoming holiday season, and we want to hear how YOU and your families celebrate traditions that remind you of the power of hope.

Festival of Lights will take place November 26th through December 7th and will have a series of events as well as displays in buildings on campus, which show how we as a community celebrate.

Please contribute pictures (copies only please), artifacts and/or short blurbs describing songs, games, volunteerism, food, lighting rituals, ceremonies, and gift giving that you partake in. These will be displayed across campus to honor the similarities and differences in our holiday traditions. Please include a short description of the picture(s) that you send.

Artifacts may be brought in to the Office of Student Inclusion and Involvement desk, and pictures/blurbs may be emailed to Connor Psyck at cpsyck@edgewood.edu or Riyaaq Ahmed at rahmed@edgewood.edu NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 25TH (preferably earlier).

We would like to keep pictures and blurbs for future years as we embrace our own tradition at Edgewood of sharing hope and traditions with each other through displays during Festival of Lights, so please let us know if you want your pictures/blurbs/items returned.

We invite you to join in the many events coming up – Tree Decorating, Holiday Crafting, Christmas Tree Lighting and Reception and join in picking up a tag on the Giving Tree during the Festival of Lights 2018!  Check the calendar and Wingra Weekly for details.
